Risk Taking Mission

Sharing Abundance - St. Paul's UMC In Mission and Service

Attention cartridge recyclers:  Thanks for all of you who help with this project.  It has come to our attention that the recycling group we work with has some restrictions on what may be recycled.
1 - We are unable to recycle toner cartridges of any kind
2 - We are unable to recycle generic cartridges (Non name brands like Premium Imaging Products which are compatible with “x” name brand).

Mission Committee -- Every Sunday we are welcomed with a greeting that includes the statement that our church is “Going in Mission”. What is a mission? Do we have any at St Paul’s? Do we need others? Can we do others? Are there limits to our desires, plans, or capabilities? What would Jesus do? Let us know of your interests -- Don Skillman, Mission Chair.

Help out Food Share. Seasons come and go and the folks at Food Share continue to need our support.  Bring an item of non-perishable food to church with you each Sunday for the basket in the foyer. Requests for food assistance continue to increase in the Helena area. To meet our ever growing need, Helena Food Share is requesting volunteers who can help for a few hours each week (Monday–Friday) between 9AM and 3:30 PM. If you have a few hours you can spare to help needy members of our community, please call Dan Anderson at Helena Food Share - 443-3663.

Do you know of someone who might benefit from a visit from a member of the Caring Ministry? Perhaps you remember someone who used to come to St. Paul’s and no longer can come because of physical limitations, or someone who is in a nursing home or an assisted living facility and would appreciate a visit? Perhaps you are aware of a family or an individual in crisis who could benefit from a meal? Please let the office know by calling Lynn Van Nice at 442-5643  ext. 110.

Meals for Millions is the first Sunday of the month in February, May, August, November – Bring in your spare change and “fish”  banks.
