Lenten Worship Schedule

Coming this Lent to Helena United Methodist Ministries:

LENT-ERACTIVE STATIONS. Join us after every Wednesday Night Dinner at St. Paul’s from February 21 – March 21 for a series of Psalm inspired activities designed to help us focus on the heart of the Easter Story. These meditative stations will be open from 6:30 to 7 PM in the sanctuary and lobby of St. Paul’s UMC. Take time to find a bit of peace and quiet this year, as we remember the marvelous things that the Lord has done.

LENTEN SOUP AND STUDY AT COVENANT UMC. Our Lenten study will be led by Pastor Patti on the book “Why Jesus” by William H. Willimon. It will meet each Wednesday, beginning February 21st at 5:30 PM thru March 21. Someone will be asked to bring soup for the group each week and we will enjoy the soup and move into our discussion on the book. The cost of the book is $10. The theme of the book will follow the sermons preached each Sunday during Lent so it should be very meaningful in our walk through The Lenten season. Please join us Wednesdays at 5:30 PM at Covenant UMC.

SHROVE TUEDAY – For all women in the church. Please join us on Tuesday, February 13 at 5:30 PM at St. Paul’s Fellowship Hall for pancakes and fun fellowship followed by a program from the state coordinator of WIC. The prayer and self denial focus for this year is Women and Infant Health issues. This is a good opportunity to meet the women from St. Paul’s five UMW Circles and at large members. Come and join in fun, learning and spiritual connection.
