News and Upcoming events:
Wednesday Youth Group:  Wednesday nights kick off September 22!
Youth Group welcomes youth in grades 6 - 12.
We meet from 6:15 to 8:15 PM in the choir room.
Activities include:  ice breakers, movies, announcements, prayer, service projects, games, speakers, educational topics and fellowship!  
 

Youth Advisory Council:  Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a group of people who help plan activities for the year and make decisions that come up in youth ministry!  We meet 5 times a year: the first Wednesday of: September, November, January, March and May in the youth room from 5:10 PM to 6:10 PM. Wednesday, September 1 is our first meeting and our main discussion will be the location of our summer 2011 youth mission trip. If you have an idea in mind, please do some research on cost, dates etc. and be ready to share at the meeting.  Please come be a part of this discussion!  Everyone is welcome!

 

Senior High Confirmation:  Confirmation class this year is for high school youth and led by George Harper and Meg White. Learn about the history of our faith, ask questions, explore Christianity, prayer, service and outreach, and grow in your faith.  At the end of the class you can decide for yourself if you would like to confirm your faith by joining St. Paul’s.  This class meets selected Sunday mornings from 9 AM to Noon. We meet 12 times plus an all day Saturday retreat.  Please call Meg at 431-7811 today to reserve your place or to ask questions.  Our first class will be Sunday, September 26!

September Youth Group Happenings!

* Sept. 10-11: Youth Ministries Team meeting in Belgrade with other youth and adults from our conference.  If you’re interested in planning events and helping with decisions on a conference level, please plan on attending!  7 PM Friday until 1 PM Saturday. RSVP so that I have rides available for you!

* Sept. 12: Welcome Home Sunday.  Meg will have a booth set up in the fellowship hall after both services.  Come register for the year and say hello!

*Sept. 12: Incoming 6th graders ice cream and scavenger hunt!  Meet in front of Susanna’s Place at 4 PM please have your rides pick you up at 5:30 PM!  We’ll enjoy ice cream at The Big Dipper as well as a chance to get to know each other and learn some things about youth ministry at St. Paul’s!

* Sept. 15 or Sept. 19: Risk Management Trainings. If you plan on volunteering in ANY capacity in our youth programs, you must take one of these classes.

* Sept. 24: Youth will be helping serve beverages and treats as well as helping sell Family Promise pins Friday night during the Lecture Series.  Stay tuned for more details!
